The Semester Close!

Hey all the semester is coming to an end! The rush of finals is creeping up. I have tests and projects to do! It shouldn't be too bad but just a lot all at the same time. Has anyone played Cafe World on Facebook?!?! It is very addicting and everyone should play and add me as a neighbor!

Hey All

How is everyone doing this week? This week is going to be a bit more busy on my end. I have a paper that is due on Friday and another paper/case study that is huge that we need to get started on. What I am most worried about is my International Finance exam on Wednesday. I think I will be be up late tomorrow night! On another note, today, November 9th is the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. It was a great time in history and something everyone should be educated on.

Another week down.

Hey everyone,

Another week has gone by. The Vikings won! Unfortunetly the Bears won too. This week shouldn't be too bad. I had a test today and an assignment due on Wednesday, but other than that, this week should not be too pressing. I should not have to stay up to horribly late. Its a new week and I am still catching up on sleep from the past two weeks! Haha.

Another Week

Hey everyone,

Another week has gone by and I am ready for it to pass. It has been a pretty stress filled week filled with tests and other assignments due. I had an International Finance test on Wednesday and an Organizational Behavior test on Thursday. I had a paper due for today, an essay test in Management tomorrow and a paper due for International Finance due on Wednesday. I also register for classes on Wednesday when I am in a class so I just might have to "Go to the bathroom." I also have a case study due in my Business Policy class on Wednesday as well. Preview day went well on Friday. I gave both tours and it was fun to meet all of the prospective students. Since I am staying here for this Halloween weekend I might be giving more tours at the end of the week if you are planning to check out campus.

Another note, Paranormal Activity is the scariest movie EVER. I went to the midnight showing on Thursday and I normally do not get scared at movies becasue they are just movies, but this movie was by far the most bone chilling scary movie I have ever seen.

A Bit Overdue

Hey all,

It has been a while since I have last blogged. This is becasue last week we had our annual Fall Breather so we did not have classes on Monday or Tuesday. This was very much welcomed by everyone on campus especially me since I have been so busy lately. But now that we are back I am probably just as busy as before. On top of keeping up with classes and studying for exams this week I also am in the process of registering for my next semester's classes. I am two semesters away from graduating from MSUM with a BS in Business Administration and a BS in Finance as well. I am a bit worried becasue I have not fully considered what it is that I want to do when I am done.

Hope this week finds everyone well and free of the Swine Flu!

Go Minnesota

Hey Everyone!

Wow what a week. The Twins have been doing great. I was at the Dome on Saturday to watch their victory over Kansas City and I was sitting at the edge of my seat for last night's game hoping for a victory. Also, I don't know if I have mentioned it before but I am a huge Vikings fan and I do not like the cheese heads even a little bit, so Monday was a great game. Right now I am in the middle of blogging, calling prospective students, and keeping track of the Twins score!

Well I better get back to calling,

Another Week!

Hey everyone! Another week has passed and I am as busy as ever. I do have some good news. Today, I got my test back in my International Finance class and I was happy to see an A on the top. Now I hope I can do the same thing for my Fundamentals of Investing test that I have tomorrow afternoon.

Some other good news. I don't know who might be a Vikings fan but they had an awesome victory yesterday! It came down to the last few seconds when Farve through a great pass resulting in a touchdown and a 3 point victory over the 49ers. I am happy to inform you that I will be attending the Vikings game on November 15th against the Detroit Loins in the Dome.

Also, this weekend I will be heading to the cities also to watch the Twins play in the Dome one last time! Hopefully it will be a fun experience before they head to Target Field.

Ready for another year!

Hey everyone!

Thats right its time for another year at MSUM. It will be my 4th year, but not my last. I will have 3 semesters left before I graduate. Classes are going well and I am excited for the remainder of the semester.

I will be calling on Monday nights as opposed to last semester when I called every Thursday. So you all better be home on Monday afternoons and prepared for my phone calls.

We were made aware that this year our calling lists can be limited to our home area or state. That means if I can call you guys from South Dakota, we can have more to talk about! Also we will be experimenting with texting students who have provided us with thier cell phone numbers. SO, if you would rather text instead of talking one on one, be sure to provide us with your number!

Almost Done!

Hey all,

I'm sorry to say that this is my last night of calling for this semester. Some of you are probably glad. I am all regestered for this fall semester and am preparing for my finals. Hopefully these next couple of weeks.

Only a couple of weeks left!

Hey all. The semester is winding down and I'm happy. Work is actually not piling up like past semesters. This year, I will have two finals and I am not too worried about them. In my other classes, I have a few projects and I am actually having fun working on them.

Another Week Closer To Summer

Hey all,

We are one week closer to summer vacation. Yes it is a vacation for me becasue I do not take classes. It also looks like we will be safe from the flood. They are projecting a new crest but the level should not affect campus life. Have a good rest of the week. Hope all is doing well.

FLOOD

Well, we had a three week spring break! The Red River flooded for the second time in about 10 years. I was out there giving my best efforts in filling sandbags and building dikes. I even had a picture in the Fargo Forum, too bad I could not find it to post it for you guys.

SNOW!!!

Hey everyone, wow did we have a nice spring snow storm! Its very funny to think that Moorhead's outdoor Dairy Queen opened on March 1st for spring! I sure am glad that I have a Blazer in order to get around in this snow! We did not have classes on Tuesday which was nice because I needed to study for my two tests for Wednesday. I later found out that one of my tests was moved to Friday. I am a little bummed since I studied so much but also relieved that I only had one test today. Which, by the way was another Finance Essay Test! It went well though. I just have my Operations Management test on Friday morning and then I am free to go skiing!!! Montana here I come!

Another Wednesday

Hey all,

Another week has gone by and the stress is building! I have been somewhat relieved when a paper for my speech class was moved until after spring break. I still have two papers and two tests all before this time next week. In fact after I am done working tonight I will be finishing a career research paper on the financial services industry. Next Wednesday afternoon, I will be free! Then come Friday afternoon it is off to Montana! I have booked the hotel and found out that with our student IDs, we save $17 on lift tickets. I am excited, I have been skiing in Bozeman, Montana twice before and I wanted to try something new and thats why we are going to Red Lodge. I have also already been skiing this year at Andes Tower Hills in Alexandra, MN and Terry Peak outside of Deadwood, SD. As you can see, I added a few pictues at the top of the page.
They are from top to bottom:
Bridger Bowl in Bozeman, Montana
Red Lodge Ski Area in Red Lodge, Montana
Andes Tower Hills in Alexandria, Minnesota
Terry Peak just outside Lead and Deadwood, South Dakota

Hey

Hello all,

Hope everyone's week is going well. I know mine is. Only two weeks until spring break. I have been working hard on planning my trip with my girlfriend. We are driving out west to Red Lodge, Montana to go skiing. This will be my third ski trip this winter and I can't wait to get out to the Rockies and hit the slopes! There are a few house keeping procedures that I need to tend to before leaving. I have two papers due and two tests to take. The only downside to Spring Break is that it is sort of a mini finals week before.

Again

Another week has gone by. I am happy to say that I got my internship at Northwestern. This week is pretty boring for me. Which is good. I haven't had to do a lot of reading or studying which is way better then last week! Hope everyone had a happy Valentine's day. I enjoyed it with my girlfriend. Thats about all I have to tell you for this week.

Hey All

Hello again everyone. Hope everyone is having a good week. Did I mention that I had an essay test in my Finance class? Well my hand still hurts from Monday, but we got out papers back and mine had an A on it! I was very happy to see that. Now its on to the next class. I have an Anthropology exam tomorrow, it shouldn't be too bad but we'll see! Awesome news! We, the MSUM admissions team will start sending out text messages to prospective students if they provide us with thier cell phone numbers! That seems to be the popular way of communication these days and MSUM is on the cutting edge! Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

What's Up

Hey everybody,

It Wednesday again! That means another week has gone by. This past week has been pretty busy for me. I have been working on interviewing people for my internship with Northwestern while still working on homework and preparing for a big exam that I have on Monday. It is really wierd, I have a huge essay test for my Finance class! While I think of Finance as dealing with numbers, there is much more to it. I like the class becasue it keeps us up-to-date with current events and teaches us how to relate our current economy to the material in the book! Hope this week finds everyone well and still healthy. I currently have a cold!

Whats Up

Hey everyone,

Good news! I had the second of three interviews for my intership with Northwestern Mutual yesterday. I am happy to say that they invited me for the third interview...after my homework assignment that is. I also have good news to report about two quizzes that I had today. Hope this week find all well and good.

Hey

Another week has gone by! This week...the inauguration of Barack Obama. MSUM had live coverage of the days events. It does not matter what party you are affiliated with, inauguration day is an event that is historical and should be experienced by all.

Welcome Back

Hey guys, break is over and school is back in session. Hope this finds everyone doing well and ready to get back at it. I headed back to good old South Dakota for break and worked! Fun huh? It was not all work I also spent time with family, the girlfriend, and also went skiing. I spent any free time I had playing the Wii that Santa brought me. This semester should go well, I am most looking forward to my Finance class!
